The Orpheus Club held several records, but its most important was probably being the longest-performing amateur club in the world. From its formation in 1892 until it sadly closed its doors in 2014, the club produced at least one show every year. La Cage was one of the club’s final productions, directed by Walter Paul. Walter sourced the costumes from the original London production, ensuring it was highly artistically and visually memorable.
